The New Zealand Ice Hockey Federation is proud to announce a special event featuring your New Zealand U18 Men, U20 Men and Ice Blacks elite national ice hockey teams.

This special event, called the New Zealand Champions Cup Ice Hockey Game will see all three national teams compete on-ice in a unique four period ice hockey game.

Periods 1 & 2: Under 18 Men (White) vs. Under 20 Men (Black)
Periods 3 & 4: Ice Blacks (White) vs. Ice Blacks (Black)

In effect, these are two separate games played back to back, with scores from periods 1 & 2 carrying across to periods 3 & 4, which will see teams White vs. Black compete across four periods. At the end of period 4, the combined team (white or black) with the most goals wins and will be crowned the New Zealand Champions Cup winners.

Featuring the best of New Zealand ice hockey, with the top players you all know and love, this thrilling event will be packed with action and energy from the moment the puck drops. See the Ice Blacks in person for the first time since 2019!

Never before have all 3 national men's teams competed on ice at the same time, so make sure you come along and watch the best of New Zealand men's ice hockey compete in this special one-off event. Limited tickets are available so get in quick.

This event is all about promoting our national ice hockey teams and developing our top players. The game takes place during the NZIHF's Triple Star camp which will see all three teams participate in a rigorous training programme in Dunedin.
